Donald R. Greenlee

Don died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Donald R Greenlee was born January 5, 1928 in Columbus, to Arthur & Bernice (Jarecki) Greenlee. He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1947. Don lived all his life in Columbus. He married Cecilia Mostek in 1949 and from this union they had 4 children. Don worked for Drew's Tire Service for over 40 years and later worked for the Avenue Bar. He served on the Columbus City Council for 2 years in the 1960's. Don was a member of the Columbus Fire Dept. for over 40 years with the W.Y. Bissel Co. and also served as Department President. He was a lifetime member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1834 in Columbus and served as president. Don was also a lifetime member of the Knights Of Columbus Council #938. In 1981 he was united in marriage to Judy Pullen.
