Donald Ganskow

Donald E. Ganskow of Grand Island, formerly of Columbus, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.

Donald E. Ganskow was born January 29, 1943 in Fremont, NE to Eugene and Eva (Streit) Ganskow. He graduated from Catholic High School in Madison. In 1966, he entered the US Army and served until 1968 as a truck driver in Germany. On July 11, 1975, Don was united in marriage to Kathy Gustafson in Columbus. Don worked for Sand Construction, Behlen Manufacturing, and helped build houses for RD Long Construction. He enjoyed bowling, car racing, Nebraska Football, and fishing.

He is survived by:

Son Troy (Teresa) Ganskow of Madison

Brother Tim (Karen) Ganskow of Hastings
Several Nieces and Nephews
