Don Rickner, 69, of Columbus died Saturday, November 4, 2006 in Yucca, Arizona. Memorial services will be 10:30 am Thursday, November 16, at McKown Funeral Home with the Rev. Del Lape officiating. There is no visitation. Memorials maybe directed to donors choice.
Don was born February 16, 1937 in Columbus to August and Olga (Kneifel) Rickner. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1955. Following high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. After the service, he returned to Columbus and married Corrine Sebek in 1961 in Columbus. Don then owned & operated Rickner's Mobile. He later sold cars for Bob Johnson Volkswagen. He then worked for Ernst Auto Center as a service manager. After working at Ernst, he was a co-owner of A.& D. Auto Sales.
Don was a member of Columbus Fire Dept. , W Y Bissell Co. He was also a member of Eagles Club, VFW Post 3704, and a life member of AMVets.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the Mohave Desert.

Son: Jim Rickner of Columbus
Son: Mike Rickner of Center Point, Iowa
Brother: Bill Rickner of Columbus
Brother: Dick (Judy) Rickner of Waldport, Oregon
He is preceded by his parents: August & Olga Rickner
