Dolores &Quot;Dee&Quot; Hendrickson

Dolores "Dee" Hendrickson, 77, of Columbus died Friday February 2, 2007 at her home. Services are 10:30 am Wednesday, February 7 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with the Rev. David Fulton officiating. Visitation is on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Visitation continues Wednesday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home. Graveside services are at 2:30 pm Wednesday at St. Francis Cemetery in Humphrey.

Dolores Dee Hendrickson was born, April 2, 1929 in Humphrey, NE to Romey and Lena (Labenz) Wisehart. She grew up in Humphrey where she attended St. Francis Grade and High School and graduated from Humphrey High School in 1948.

She was united in marriage to Marlyn Hike Hendrickson on September 13, 1952 at St. Francis Church in Humphrey. Dee worked at Becton-Dickinson and did child care for almost 40 years where she developed many friendships. She also took reservations for the Platte Valley Playhouse productions. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and the Platte Valley Playhouse.

Dee enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, collecting angel and chicken figurines, dolls, putting puzzles together, sewing, especially little girl dresses, reading, acting in plays, Nebraska football and the Chicago Cubs baseball team.
