Dillon Egger

Dillon J. Egger, 15, of rural Columbus died Sunday, August 27 at Columbus Community Hospital as result of an automobile accident. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Thursday, August 31 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center with the Rev. Rod Kneifl officiating. Visitation is on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at St. Joseph Church with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm, also at the church. Visitation continues Thursday morning from 9:30 am until service time at the church. Interment will be in Ss. Patrick/Joseph Cemetery.

Dillon James Egger was born November 25, 1990 in Columbus to Gary and Teresa Egger. He grew up and lived on the family farm in Platte County. Dillon was currently a sophomore at Lakeview High School where he was involved in FBLA, FFA, and track. He loved hunting, fishing, the group Rascal Flats, music, baseball, and enjoyed participating in the Passion Play. Thank You, Jim
