Dianne Rose Marie Olson was born August 12th, 1953 in Neligh, Nebraska to Leo Hausmann and Ione Penne. She grew up in Elgin, and upon her Confirmation at St. Bonaventure Church, Dianne took on the name of St. Rose. It was her faith that inspired her giving nature, regularly donating to various charities.

Dianne was known for her artistic talent, and often channeled her creativity within her home, as well as in her garden. Flowers brought her much joy and she found beauty within every shape and color, though she particularly looked forward to tulips each Spring. Dianne adored animals and as a nurturing person, cared for many pets, such as her beloved dog Zoe, and even a litter of kittens her precious Sissy gave birth to. Being the nurturing soul she was, Dianne loved children and always dreamt of being a wife and mother; naturally, family was of utmost importance to her. While her own children attended high-school, Dianne worked in the cafeteria and was known for her sweet disposition and was spoken of fondly by students.

On April 9th, 2026 Dianne passed away peacefully in her sleep. Her spirit lives on through her family; her devoted husband Donn, with whom she shared thirty-nine loving years of marriage, as well as her two children, Levi and Collin. As the youngest of six, she is survived by her twin Donald, as well as older siblings Geraldine, James, and Michael. Her entire family is thankful for every moment they had with her. As a woman of unwavering faith, Dianne did not fear death, as she knew she would be wrapped in God's embrace; undoubtedly, she has reunited with loved ones, such as her parents, her sister Janice, and all of her beloved pets. Truly, her vibrant spirit will be dearly missed and remembered forever by those who live on.

In lieu of potted plants, those who wish to send their condolences may send bouquets of flowers or trinkets to decorate her grave, such as figures of angels, hummingbirds, or butterflies. Monetary donations are also appreciated, whether it's to her family or the local animal shelter in her name.
