Dianne Micek

Dianne Love Micek, age 73, died Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola, NE.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan, NE.  Visitation is 5-7 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, with a 7:00 pm Vigil service, all occurring at the Church.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Good Samaritan Society- Osceola for the years of care.

Dianne Love Micek was born April 23, 1951, to Earl and Mardell (Curtis) Warner of Monroe, NE. She went on to receive her education from Monroe High School.  She was married to Eugene E. "Butch" Micek on January 4, 1969, at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan, NE.  To this union four sons were born: Brian, Aaron, Jacob, and Steven.  They were also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Dianne worked as an LPN for many years at local hospitals and nursing homes.  Dianne's many talents included baking, sewing, and crafting.  Her grandkids were all the superstars of their classrooms when "farm" grandma made them her wonderfully detailed gingerbread creations that included fancy fairytale houses to decked out barns each Christmas season.

12 Grandchildren: Brandon (Tiffany) Micek, Brooke (Scott) Hueschen, Ethan (Joce) Micek, Curtis (Fiancé Caitlyn) Micek, Austin Micek, Alex (Katelynn) Micek, Camille (Tyler) Schultz, Kensey Micek, Kobe Micek, Collins Micek, Abby Gutzwiller, and Zoey Micek.
7 Great Grandchildren: Saint Micek, Bodie & Hannah Hueschen, Peyton Micek, Charlotte & Presley Micek, and Hazel Schultz.
