Dennis Dush

Dennis Dush, 90, of Columbus died Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Columbus Community Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan, NE. Visitation is on Monday from 5-7 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil service, all at the church. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning from 9-10 a.m. at the church. Interment is in St. Stanislaus Cemetery with Military Honors by Hartman Post #84 American Legion Honor Guard.

Dennis Dush was born December 9, 1928 in Duncan, NE to John and Victoria (Starostka) Dush. He was raised and received his education in Duncan before entering the US Army. Dennis was stationed in Germany. He married Monica Tarnick on June 22, 1963 at Krakow. Dennis worked as a heavy equipment operator for Behlen's and Gerhold's. He retired in 1996. Dennis was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Dennis was a 25 year cancer survivor. He enjoyed farming with son and grandchildren.
