Denise Marie (Clark) Fritz age 63 of Tucson, Arizona passed away peacefully February 1, 2026 after battling ovarian cancer for more than 4 years. Denise was the 24-year sweetheart and partner of Ken Drozd of Tucson, formerly of Duncan, Nebraska.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am August 19, 2026 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan with interment of ashes at the parish cemetery. A luncheon and celebration of life will follow at the Parish Center.

Denise was born October 14, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Dennis J. Clark and Virginia (Wall) Clark. She grew up in Hales Corners, WI, attended St. Mary Parish School and graduated from Whitnall High School in nearby Greenfield. Denise received an Associate’s Degree in Travel and Tourism from Stratton College in Milwaukee and attended culinary school.

Denise enjoyed a long career in the travel industry, first working for Midway Airlines; but mainly as a travel consultant, most recently (since 2003) for Pavlus Travel. Getting to know her clients and helping them to plan their trips brought Denise tremendous satisfaction. She loved to travel and experience the sights, activities and cuisine of new places. Denise was an adventurous cook and foodie, always wanting to try a new recipe or restaurant. She also loved to sew, watch car races and visit casinos, where she was known to be very lucky.

Denise is survived by her mother, as well as her brother Timothy J. Clark (Jen), niece Caroline Clark and nephew Benjamin Clark. She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Stand Up To Cancer.
