Delores Staroscik

Delores "Dee" Staroscik, age 87, of Columbus, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.

Delores Dee was born February 19, 1925 in Tilden, Nebraska to Martin and Amelia (Simonsen) Kahland. She grew up in Tilden and graduated from Tilden High. Dee married Ernest Lindbo in 1946. She lived in various communities before moving to Columbus in 1963. Dee married Lawrence "Larry" Staroscik in Grand Island in 1971. She worked as a bookkeeper at the Alfalfa Mill and later in human resources at Behlen Manufacturing until her retirement. She was a member of St. Lukes-UCC, V.F.W and American Legion Auxiliaries, Soroptimist and Behlen Retirement Group.
