Delores Jaworski, age 92, of Columbus, died Monday, December 9, 2019 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation is Friday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Delores I. Jaworski was born May 17, 1927 in Columbus to Adolph and Louisa (Labens) Zybach. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Kramer High School in 1945. On August 17, 1946, Delores was united in marriage to Robert Channer and to this union, four children were born. Delores worked at the Elks Country Club for many years. She also worked at JCPenney's along with doing volunteer work for the American Red Cross. Delores helped with the Bloodmobile for thirty years. On August 28, 1978, Delores married William J. Jaworski.
Delores was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church from which she was both baptized and confirmed. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking. Delores also enjoyed going for lunch at Tooley's and The Picket Fence Cafe. She took pride in her appearance and it was evident.
