Delores Irwin

Delores Irwin of Columbus died Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Emerald Nursing and Rehab in Columbus.

Services are 2:00 pm Thursday, March 27 at McKown Funeral Home with Celebrant Chase Cherry officiating.  Visitation is on Thursday from 1-2:00 pm at the funeral home.  Interment is in Roselawn Cemetery at a later date.

Delores was born November 5, 1930 in Columbus, Nebraska to Henry and Freda (Kirkman) Glasner. She was united in marriage to Ray Irwin on December 17,1949 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They travelled with M.H. Van Berg, training horses, until setting in Columbus. They later moved to Denver where they lived until returning to Shelby in 1982. They lived south of Shelby on their acreage and enjoyed their animals, nature, flowers and wildlife. In 2018 they moved to Columbus where they have lived since. Delores enjoyed her pets and crafts, including needle work and quilting.

She is survived by her brother: Marlin Glasner and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ray and son: Randy in 2022
