Della Silovic

Della L. Silovic, age 93, of Columbus, Nebraska died Saturday March 20, 2004 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday March 23, 2004 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Del Lape officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.

Della Louise Silovic was born November 4, 1910 in Columbus, Nebraska to Charles and Nellie (Kantor) Wozny. She attended Kramer High School. On August 3, 1940 she was united in marriage to William G. Silovic in Chicago, Illinois. Della lived in Columbus and Chicago where she worked for the Adam's Cafe in Columbus and was a bookkeeper for Mickelberry Food Products in Chicago for 18 years retiring in 1972. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Theresa Sodality. Della loved the horse races and playing cards.
