Delores “Dee” Bowman, age 85 of Columbus, dies Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil service all at the church. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning 9:30 until service time at the church. Interment will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Dee was born September 9, 1940 in Columbus, Nebraska to Leo and Mary (Czarnek) Ryba. She received her education in Duncan. Along with raising her family she worked at various places including Dale Electronics, housekeeping and waitressing. She enjoyed animals, feeding birds and squirrels.

Dee is survived by her daughters: Sheila Sommermeyer and Jayne (Jeff) Adkisson, brother Emil Ryba, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo Ryba and Mary Ryba, sister: Joann, brother: Lawrence and sister-in-law: Glenda Ryba
