Deborah Matulka, age 69, died Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Funeral services are 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at McKown Funeral Home with Fr. Michael Swanton officiating. Visitation is 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Columbus Cemetery.

Deborah J. Matulka was born February 9, 1952 in Fremont, Nebraska to Albert and Delores (Churchill) Barton. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1970. She married Daniel Matulka on February 16, 1991 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Deborah received her LPN Degree from Platte College. She worked at various places in the area before retiring due to health reasons. Deborah was an avid animal lover.
