Deborah Church

Deborah Church, age 65 of Genoa, formerly of Columbus, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Genoa Long Term Care.

Deborah was born June 30, 1953 in Columbus, Nebraska to William and Shirley (Nelson) Church. She grew up in Columbus where she received her education. On June 1, 1997 Debbie received her G.E.D. She was active with the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She served two terms as Madam President of the People First Organization. Debbie enjoyed bowling, collecting teddy bears, riding her scooter, and going out to eat. She was an avid Husker fan. Most importantly she loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with her family. The family would like to thank B.J. and Paula Barcel for their help and care.

Debbie is survived by:
brother: Doug (Patty) Church of Bladen, NE, Sister-in-law Noreen Church of Council Bluffs, IA, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Shirley Church and 2 brothers: Dallas and Daniel Church.
