Deanna M. Jasper

Deanna died Friday, March 1, 2013 at her home surrounded by family and friends following a courageous 2 year battle with cancer.

Deanna was born August 1, 1956 in Columbus, Nebraska to Carl and Barbara (Roelle) Ryba. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1974. She married Charles Jasper on August 9, 1974 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. She traveled with her husband on the railroad work crew in the western states from 1974-1978 when they moved to Cozad. In 1979 they moved back to Columbus. Deanna worked at D-L and later Cameco for 25 years until retiring early to take care of her sick mother. She enjoyed bowling on Friday night leagues, traveling with her husband to watch her sons play baseball, football, soccer and basketball. Deanna also enjoyed trips to the casinos with her friends and spending time with her grandson, Ryan and special friends Barb and Dan Brock and Kris Girardin.
