Dean Miner

Dean R. Miner was born on May 30, 1956, in York, NE to Quintin and Clara (Mohl) Miner.  He grew up near York, NE and graduated from Exeter High School.  After graduation, Dean attended Nebraska Trade School in Milford, NE.  Dean then farmed on his family farm and other surrounding farms for several years.  Dean was always an Allis-Chalmers tractor fan while farming.

Along with farming, Dean began his lifelong career of truck driving and hauling cattle all over the country.  At the time of his death, Dean owned and operated DR Miner Trucking and hauled cattle for TJMS Trucking out of Kearney, NE.

Dean was united in marriage to Leota "Lee" Belknap on June 23, 2007 in Lincoln, NE.  From this marriage two families were blended with children including Bryce, Amanda, Shelli, Shannon and Bridget.

Dean's hobbies included handyman jobs, collecting diecast semi tractors, building things for his grandchildren, fixing up the house for him and Lee, spending time with family and always helping out the many people he met while living a good life.

daughter Amanda Saunders, grandchildren Amaiya, Ayvian and Antjuan, Jr.;

daughter Shelli Laursen, grandchildren Miranda, Kaila and Genah;

daughter Shannon (Brian) Brownlow, grandchildren Jacee, Connor, Emma and Kaden, great grandson Merek;

daughter Bridget Uhrich, grandchildren Trevon and Cierra;

brother Gary (Linda) Miner, nieces Michelle and Lisa;

sister Diane (Dwight) Henke, nieces Crystal, April and Laura.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Quintin and Clara Miner.
