David Sliva

David Sliva, Sr. died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Butler County Health Center in David City at the age of 65.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Bellwood. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus.

Dave Sliva, Sr. was born July 13, 1956, in Columbus to Philip and Geraldine (Morgan) Sliva. He attended grade school at St. Bonaventure and high school at Columbus High School. After school, Dave worked various jobs, before going to work for the railroad, where he retired from R & S track maintenance. He enjoyed watching football, going for drives with his dogs and being outside. Dave also enjoyed a cold old mill light while playing a few games of keno, cards and "the" dice game.
