David "Jiver" Robak died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his home in Columbus.
David Robak was born May 6, 1948 in Columbus, NE to Elmer and Elizabeth (Bernecki) Robak. He graduated from Scotus High School in 1966. After serving in the U.S. Army from March 1968 - March 1970, he travelled the western US on his pride and joy, his Kawasaki 900. He lived and worked in Los Angeles and Las Vegas for a couple of years and then returned home. He worked numerous jobs in Columbus, including Behlens, Union Pacific Railroad, Columbus Hydraulics, and R & S Track Maintenance. Dave enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching sports and Jeopardy on TV and his daily walk to Miceks Shangri-La. He also enjoyed going to Creighton basketball games, K.C. Royals baseball games, and playing Backgammon. Dave was a member of the Hartman Post #84 American Legion.
