Darlene M. Ungles died Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in Columbus, Nebraska

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at McKown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. Private family interment will be in the Ungles Family Cemetery.

Darlene Mae Ungles was born February 28, 1938 in Columbus, Nebraska to Andy and Esther (Kuhn) Kosiba. She grew up and attended Columbus High School. On September 7, 1968 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Ungles at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus. The couple has lived east of Tarnov for 45 years. Alongside being a homemaker, Darlene enjoyed working with her horses. She also enjoyed participating in rodeos early on with her husband Kenneth. Throughout the years, she participated in barrel racing and pole bending.
