Darlene M. Haase was born January 10, 1940 in David City, NE to Willard and Phyllis Armagost. She attended school in David City. On September 21, 1958, Darlene was united in marriage to Ervin Haase at First Lutheran Church in Rising City. To this union, five children were born. Darlene worked as a cook at David Place for 4 years. She also worked at the Osceola Hospital and nursing home in Osceola, drove taxi in Columbus, worked for Tran-Tec, and Gloor's Bakery in Columbus. Darlene enjoyed home decorating, wall-papering, spending time with her family, especially with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a private person and a strong believer of her faith.
