Daniel Pasonault

Daniel Pasonault, age 74 of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday; December 17, 2002 at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday; December 20, 2002 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. The Rev. Tom Weisbecker will officiate. Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery with military honors by Hartman Post #84 American Legion Honor Guard. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service all at the church. Visitation will continue Friday morning 8-10 a.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.

Daniel Pasonault was born June 3, 1928 in Dodge, NE to Leo & Milada Pasonault. He attended St. Wenceslaus Grade School in Dodge, graduated from Dodge High School in 1946, and attended Midland College in Fremont. On April 22, 1952 he was united in marriage to Margaret Kozisek at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Schuyler, Nebraska. The couple spent 20 years in the US Air Force, retiring in 1971. They lived in the Rising City and Columbus area since 1971 where they owned and operated the Bay Meadows Mobile Home Park. Dan played with the Mark Vyhlidal Orchestra and was affiliated with the All-Star Polka Show. He loved dancing, music, and helping others.
