Daniel D. Mudloff

Daniel D. Mudloff, age 75, of Columbus, died Friday, January 15, 2021 at Columbus Community Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus, NE.  Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2021, with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil service at the McKown Funeral Home.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery with Military Honors by Hartman Post # 84 - American Legion Honor Guard.  Please follow all CDC guidelines and masks are required.

Daniel D. Mudloff was born August 17, 1945 in Loup City, Nebraska to Edward and Leone (Maschka) Mudloff. He grew up in Farwell, Nebraska and graduated from Farwell High School, and while attending high school he worked at Lukasiewicz Furniture and Appliance until enlisting in the Navy Air Corp from August 16, 1965 through August 18. 1968. He achieved the rank of AMS -3. After returning from the Navy, he again worked at Lukasiewicz for two years and married Glenda "Sue" Rosenthal on May 2, 1970 at St. Anthony Catholic church in Columbus.  They moved to Columbus in 1970, and Daniel worked for Dale Electronics until 1981. From 1981 to 2006 he was employed at Becton Dickenson until his retirement in 2006.
