Dale Muckey

Dale D. Muckey, age 88, died Monday, November 9 2020 at the Countryside Home in Madison, Nebraska.

Graveside Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 18, 2020 at the Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward, Nebraska with military honors by the Manderson Lehr Post #162 American Legion Honor Guard.

Dale D. Muckey was born March 26, 1932 on the family farm near St. Edward to Wayne and Erma (Grape) Muckey. He graduated from St. Edward High School. Dale served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War from July 1951 – March 1953. On January 25, 1953 in St. Edward, Nebraska he married Donna Jacobson. The couple lived in Seattle, WA, San Juan Islands, Hampton, NE, Belleville, KS, Smith Center, KS, Oakley, KS, Columbus, NE and McAllen, TX before returning to St. Edward. Dale worked at Becton-Dickinson until retiring. He was a member of St. Luke's Church in Columbus. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making jewelry and spending time with family.
