Dale "Doc" Holley

Dale "Doc" Holley, age 82, died March 7, 2024, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 11 at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning 10 a.m. until service time, all occurring at McKown Funeral Home.

Doc was born March 24, 1941 in Boone, Iowa to Russel D. and Gladys (Campbell) Holley.  He married Elizabeth "Betty" Holley on September 3, 1966 in Grand Island. Doc was an OTR truck driver and proudly drove over 1,000,000 documented miles until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed music, camping, spending time with his family, especially grandchildren, dancing, traveling to Sturgis and South Padre Island.

Grandchildren: Joe (Stephanie) Morton, Shaelene (Jaime) Lassek, Cade (Sarah)  Morton, Jordan Holley, Jared Holley, Darienne (Dustin) Wood, Brogan (Miranda) Holley, Spencer (Taylor) Holley, Morisyn Holley, Carley (Sean Jones) Moser, and Caleb Moser.
