Dale Fuchs, age 68, of Columbus, died Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Columbus.

***SERVICES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 10:00 A.M. MONDAY, MARCH 18, 2019 AT ST. BONAVENTURE CHURCH IN COLUMBUS. BURIAL WILL BE IN THE ALL SAINTS CEMETERY WITH MILITARY HONORS BY HARTMAN POST #84 AMERICAN LEGION HONOR GUARD. VISTIATION IS 8:30 - 9:30 A.M. MONDAY AT MCKOWN FUNERAL HOME.

Dale J. Fuchs was born March 26, 1950 in Columbus, Nebraska to James and Mary Ann (Mausbach) Fuchs. He graduated from Platte Center High School in 1968. On July 17, 1970 Dale was united in marriage to Linda Mueller at St. Bonaventure Church. Dale served in the U.S. Army from August 1970 – March 1972 where he was stationed in Germany with the Armor Tank Division. The couple lived in Columbus where he worked for Behlen Mfg. and Platte County Highway Department before going to Loup Public Power on July 1, 1979 until retiring in 2012. He enjoyed playing fast pitch and slow pitch softball, bowling, golfing, hunting, fishing, playing cards, taking care of the family farm and spending time with family and friends. Dale was a member of St. Bonaventure Church.
