Craig Junghaene

Craig Junghaene, age 63, died Friday, October 4, 2024, at his home in Columbus.

Memorial services are 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment is in Roselawn Cemetery.

Craig Junghaene was born March 5, 1961, in Omaha to Walter and Evelyn (Streblow) Junghaene.  Craig lived in Washington, California, but spent the majority of his life in Columbus, NE.

Craig worked as a forklift driver at CAMACO for 41 years.  He loved bowling, baseball cards, comics, watching the animals of nature, motorcycle riding, spending time with his granddaughter and son, along with his family and friends.

Craig is survived by his wife Connie, son Greg (significant other Tara), Tara's daughters Emma and Maddie along with his granddaughter Hannah, brother-in-law Dan Scholl and his wife Mary, nieces and nephews, sister's-in-law Joyce Scholl, Jamie (Lonnie) Shenshew, and father-in-law Delano Scholl.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Walter Junghaene, Mother-in-law, Barbara Scholl, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
