Connie Schneider entered eternal rest at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 28, 2023

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Visitation is Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. Interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery.

Connie J. Schneider was born December 9, 1953 in Columbus, Nebraska to Sylvester "Ves" and Rosemary (Preister) Zuerlein. She received her education at Scotus Central High School and Central Community College-Platte Campus. Connie married Bruce Schneider on August 18, 1978 in Columbus, Nebraska. Along with raising her family she worked at Nebraska Public Power and the family business, Schneider's OK Tire Company. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, golf, sewing, cooking, activities with her grandchildren and organizing family gatherings. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Connie ultimately lost her battle to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Connie was deeply loved and will be cherished by her family and friends forever.

daughter: Michelle (Josh) Mueller of Columbus

grandson: Graeme Mueller

granddaughters: Lauren and Natalie Mueller

mother: Rosemary Zuerlein Moore of Columbus

brother: Peter (Karen) Zuerlein of Bellwood

sister: Margaret "Peg" (Tim) Graf of Columbus

sister: Mary (Brad) Emanuel of Wichita

She was preceded in death by her father: Sylvester "Ves" Zuerlein, brother: Joseph Zuerlein sisters: Julie Grace and Deborah "Debbie" Schraer
