Connie Pierson

Connie K. Pierson, age 93, died Saturday, August 2, 2025, at her rural Genoa home.

Private services will be held.

Connie Kay Pierson was born on February 9, 1932, in Genoa, Nebraska, to (George) Clifford and Freda (Vogt) Plantz. She lived in Genoa, Madison, and Omaha before returning to Genoa for high school, graduating in 1949.

On December 25, 1949, Connie married Darwin Pierson. They lived in Omaha before settling in Columbus to raise their family. After their children were grown, Connie and Darwin spent nearly two decades in McCook before returning to Genoa in 2003.

Connie enjoyed keeping a warm and welcoming home for her family and was active in her church community.
Her smile and hugs will be deeply missed by many.
