Connie Czarnick

Connie Czarnick, age 83, of Columbus died Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Public visitation is 3-5 on Sunday April 30, 2023 at the McKown Funeral Home. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery.

Connie was born May 27, 1939 in Guide Rock, Nebraska to Wilber and Arlene (Remter) Scherzinger. She lived in various locations including Milford where she graduated from High School. Connie was united in marriage to Gerry Czarnick on April 26, 1958 in Seward. In 1962 they moved from Lincoln to Columbus. Along with raising her family, she enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, quilting, bowling, crosswords and playing Scrabble. She was a founding member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

Son: Mike (Karen) Czarnick of Omaha

Daughter: Nancy Czarnick of Colorado Springs

10 Grandchildren: Matthew, Mark, Daniel, Kyle, Nathan, Emily, Nick, Rachel, Ava and Charlotte

2 Great Grandchildren: Lillian and Amelia

Sister: Sandy (Sam) Lewis of Idaho Falls, ID

Sister-in-law: Maxine Scherzinger of Vail, AZ

Brother: Jake Scherzinger
