Clemence "Clem" Rinkol, age 86, of Silver Creek, Nebraska died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Brookstone Acres in Columbus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with a 5:00 p.m. Vigil. Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Church. Interment is at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Krakow.
Clemence "Clem" Rinkol was born September 12, 1933 in St. Edward, Nebraska to Stanley and Victoria (Czarnick) Rinkol. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 -1958. On September 1, 1962 Clem was united in marriage to Evelyn Stankoski at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church – Krakow. The couple lived on farm near Genoa before moving to Silver Creek. Clem owned and operated the Highway 30 Tavern in Silver Creek for 35 years. After retiring from the tavern he worked as a security guard at ADM and Vishay-Dale's for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards with brothers and spending time with his grandkids. Clem was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek.
