Clara Ella Bosak 95, died Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Friend Manor, Friend, Ne., Funeral Services will be Friday, May 10, 2013 with Reverend Paixao Baptista officiating. Visitation will be at the Dorchester United Methodist Church at 10:30, prior to the service at 1PM. Burial will be at Dorchester Cemetery, Dorchester, Ne.
Clara E. Taborek was born March 12, 1918 in Dorchester, Ne to Frank J.Taborek and Anna J Marhan Spacek. She grew up in Dorchester and graduated in 1935 from Dorchester High School.
She married Frank O Bosak December 28, 1936 in Marysville, Kansas. In her early married life, Clara was a hairdresser. The couple farmed near Wilber. During World War II they lived & worked in Lincoln. In 1945 they moved to Dorchester, where she was a homemaker. The couple had two children Betty & Larry.
Clara was a member of United Methodist Church. She was active in the Church where she baked kolaches for the church bake sale and for many years cooked her special liver dumpling soup for the annual soup dinner fundraiser. She was a member of the Garden Club, an avid gardener, china painter and bridge player and she always enjoyed long walks. She loved to bake for family, go fishing and challenge anyone to board and card games. Family was the most important part of her life, and company was always welcome at their home.

She is Preceded in Death by Husband Frank in 2002 Daughter Betty in 2007. Brother Bob &( Donna) Taborek, Sister Alma Kalkwarf, 1/2 Brothers Harry &(Francis) & Eugene &(Helen) Spacek and Nephew Al (Jr) Kalkwarf.
