Clara died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Morys Haven in Columbus.

Clara Ruth Barber was born September 2, 1919 in Coleridge, Nebraska to John and Clara Maude (Nelson) Junk. She married Everet V. Barber on May 7, 1939 in Mapleton, Iowa. The couple lived in Mapleton & Los Angeles before moving to Platte Center in the 1950's. Clara worked at the bank in Platte Center and also at Dale Electronics in Columbus. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Columbus. Clara enjoyed quilting and sewing clothes.

She is survived by:
