Christine Liss

Christine Liss, 85, of Duncan died Monday January 28, 2002 at Genoa Long Term Care. Funeral services are 10:30 pm Friday February 1, 2002 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan with the Rev. Dave Korth officiating. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 pm at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan. There will be a vigil service Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at the church. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:30 am until service time. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Christine E. Liss was born August 27, 1916 in Polk County to George and Catherine (Matya) Boruch. She was raised in Polk County and attended country schools there. She married John Liss on April 20, 1942 in Duncan. She raised her family and worked for Dale Electronics for 15 years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan, St. Ann's Society, and the Lions Club.
