Chris Kwapnoski

Chris M. Kwapnoski, 22, of Columbus died Tuesday June 5 at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral services are 10:00 am Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with Rev. Christopher Grimmond officiating. Visitation will begin on Friday after 5 pm at McKown Funeral Home. There will be a vigil service at 7 pm Friday at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues from 8-9:30 am Saturday at McKown Funeral Home.

Chris M. Kwapnoski was born May 8, 1979 in Columbus, Nebraska to Chester and Colletta (Otterpohl) Kwapnoski.
He grew up in the Bellwood & David City area living with his foster parents Charles and Margaret Romshek and later Marty and Nancy Romshek. He graduated from Columbus High School. Chris worked for Cummins Tools where he enjoyed traveling and selling at conventions and home expos.
