Cheryl Oppliger, age 68, of Columbus died Friday, April 8, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Cheryl was born March 25, 1948, in Norfolk, Nebraska to Ernest and Delores (Kahland) Lindbo. In 1963, she moved to Columbus with her family. She graduated from Columbus High in 1966. She was married to Jim Oppliger in 1969, to this union two children were born. She worked at Behlen Manufacturing in the payroll department and later at the Columbus United Federal Credit Union as a receptionist. She enjoyed planting flowers, art, drawing, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Lukes- U.C.C.

daughter: Jamie Oppliger of Columbus
son: Jeff (Michelle) Oppliger of Columbus
grandson: Cole Oppliger of Columbus
brother: Jerome Lindbo of Columbus
She was preceded in death by her father: Ernest Lindbo, mother and step-father: Delores and Larry Staroscik.
