Charles Jr Cunningham

Charles E. Cunningham Jr., age 58, of Columbus, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Del Lape will officiate. Visitation is Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning 8-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the St. Patrick Cemetery in Eddyville. An approximate 2:30 graveside service is scheduled.

Charles was born September 29, 1947 in Kearney, Nebraska to Charles E. and Dawn (Brown) Cunningham. He received his education in Lexington and graduated from St. Ann's High School in 1965. He worked for a ranch in the Sumner area before going to work at Monroe Auto Equipment in Cozad where he worked for 25 years. He then worked at Big Valley in Lexington before moving to Columbus where he has worked at Behlen Mfg since moving. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus and enjoyed fishing and his work.

Sister: Katherine (Fred) Wooldridge of Bartlett, KS
Brother: Terry (Karolyn) Cunningham of Columbus, NE
2 Grandchildren: Adam and Jenny and many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister: Marjorie Graff.
