Cecil F. Grape

Cecil died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Alegent Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Cecil F. Grape was born April 2, 1939 in Genoa, Nebraska to Clarence and Marjorie (Condreay) Grape. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 - 1960. Cecil married Carole Brown on January 3, 1959 in Lynn, Massachusetts. The couple resided in Nebraska where they lived in Boone, St. Edward and Monroe before moving to Columbus in 1960. Cecil worked at the Boulevard Sport Shop, Greiners Furniture and owned Grape Home Improvement. He enjoyed stock car racing, motorcycle riding and doing yard work. Cecil was a member of the American Legion and the First Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Trustee.
