Catherine Frischholz

Catherine Frischholz, age 96, of Columbus died Tuesday, September 4, 2007at the Golden Living Center in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2007 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. The Rev. Tom Weisbecker will officiate. Visitation is Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil service Thursday evening also at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Friday morning 8-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Catherine Frischholz was born May 23,1911 in Columbus, Nebraska to Alois and Catherine (Schmitz) Frischholz. She graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1930. She lived her entire live in Columbus. She retired as executive secretary to the General Manager of Nebraska Public Power District. She also served as Assistant Secretary of the Board of Directors of Nebraska Public Power District for a period of time. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.


She is survived by her sister Mary Frischholz of Columbus and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
