Carroll Vacha

Carroll Edward Vacha, age 66, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 20, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation is 5:00-7:00 Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home. At the family's request, masks are required by those in attendance.

Carroll was born on May 28,1954 in Columbus, Nebraska to Edward Vacha, Jr. and Norma (King)Vacha.. He attended grade school in Creston and Platte Center and he graduated in 1972 from Lakeview High School. Carroll went on to attend Hastings College and CCC in Columbus.

Carroll was married to Cindy Garvin on September 28, 1991.  They were blessed with 2 sons, Michael and Bryan. Carroll's hobbies included golfing with friends, being a dedicated member of his coffee group, playing with his granddaughter,  and fixing everything with wire and duct tape  Carroll's work experience included being a data clerk at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, being a manager at McDonald's in Tempe Arizona and Hardee's in Omaha, managing Waterhole #5 in Clarkson and The Still in Howells, working at Precision Industries, Orion Corporation, Witt's Feed Yard, Wal-Mart, Apogee, Menards, and most recently for KC Auto.
