Carroll Hahn

Carroll J. Hahn of Columbus died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln.

Carroll J. Hahn was born on April 1, 1927 in Columbus, NE to John and Hedwig (Shock) Hahn. He attended grade school at Hahn Country School in Polk County and Kramer High School in Columbus. He married Dorothy Dottie Svoboda on October 11, 1948 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard. Carroll farmed all of his life in Polk County near Columbus. He had three children: Cheryl (Thomas) Coleman of Omaha NE, Doug (Nicole) Hahn of Columbus, NE and Duane (Diane) Hahn of Columbus, NE. He had 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He had a special friend of 12 years, Jan Entsminger of Lincoln, NE. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan, NE.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dottie, his sisters Irene Leimser and Mildred Hahn and parents John and Hedwig Hahn.
