Carol Stuart of Columbus died Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Emerald Nursing and Rehab.
Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 am Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a 7:00 pm Vigil service to follow. Visitation continues Thursday from 9:30 am until service time at the church. Following a luncheon at the church, interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Clarks
Carol Stuart was born October 28, 1945, in Fullerton to Frank and Catherine (Beck) Konwinski. She graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1964. On September 3, 1966, she was united in marriage to Charles "Charlie" Stuart at St. Lawrence Church in Silver Creek.
Carol lived in Columbus where she worked as a Beautician. Carol also worked for the House of Lloyd doing home parties.
Carol loved decorating. She decorated for every holiday season, especially at Christmas. She loved watching the Huskers, traveling and her sorority.
Carol was a member of St. Anthony Church, the Association of Beauticians and Cosmetologists (President of the Columbus Area Chapter), and helped with Boy Scouts where she received multiple awards.
