Carol Lou Severyn

Carol died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at her home in Platte Center.

Carol Lou Severyn was born April 20, 1940 in Curtis, Nebraska to Leo and Helen Marian (Howard) Sweet. She grew up in western Nebraska and attended Fremont Public Schools. Carol married Jack Lee Severyn on August 25, 1957 in Fremont. While living in Fremont she worked at the Miller Pharmacy. In 1979 the couple moved to Columbus. Carol worked for Behlen Manufacturing, Morys Haven and was a devoted daycare provider. In 1996 they moved to Platte Center. Carol enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting, crossword puzzles and camping with many friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
