Carol A. Kula, age 63, of Silver Creek, Nebraska died Monday, May 22, 2006 at her home. Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 at St Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. Visitation is after 5:00 p.m. Thursday with a 5:30 p.m. St. Peter & Paul Altar Society Rosary and an 8:30 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Lawrence Church. Visitation continues Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00a.m. also at the church.
Carol A. Kula was born March 18, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Lucille (Kurek) Govern. She moved to Silver Creek as a child where she graduated from high school. Carol continued her education at a Business School in Omaha. Carol was united in marriage to Richard D. Kula on August 31, 1963 in Krakow. They lived in Iowa and in Grand Island for 15 years before returning to Silver Creek. Carol was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She also worked various jobs in Grand Island and Columbus. She enjoyed traveling to see her family and grandkids, gardening, reading, helping others and was loved by all. She was a member of St. Lawrence Church.
