Burdette Miller, age 91, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Meridian Gardens in Columbus.

Burdette Miller was born October 22, 1926 in Elba, Nebraska to Joseph and Gertrude (Gorecki) Sidel. She graduated from Silver Creek High School and later taught country school for four years. She then worked for the Jeffrey Accounting Office and Frank Zelda Accounting for many years. Burdette married Eugene Miller on September 18, 1951 at St. Augustine Church in Schuyler, Nebraska. They raised four sons, Galen, David, Steven and Robert. She enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.

Burdette is survived by:
Son: Galen (Laurie) Miller of Columbus
Son: David (Roxanne) Miller of LaVista
Son: Steven (Rose) Miller of Temple, TX
Son: Robert (Kris) Miller of Columbus
15 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren 1 great great granddaughter
Sister: JoAnn Kragskow

She was preceded in death by: parents, husband: Eugene, sister: Hilda Tworek; brother: Richard Sidel
