Brian Kuta

Brian Kuta passed away unexpectedly in Lincoln.

Brian Paul Kuta was born December 10, 1965 in Columbus, Nebraska to Norbert and Georgia (Anderson) Kuta. He attended District 24 elementary school then graduated with athletic honors from Lakeview High School. Brian was baptized, confirmed, received his First Communion, and served as an altar boy at St. Joseph Church in Platte Center. Brian was selected to play basketball in the second year of the All-Star basketball game after graduation. He attended college at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Brian got married in 1986 to Cindy Krause at St. Bonaventure Church. He then raised two children, one son (Sean Kuta) and a daughter (Kasi Fitzgerald). Things in his spare time he enjoyed to do are participate in his bowling and softball league, attending family holidays and events, watching and playing golf, horse racing at Ag Park and State Fair Park, and watching Husker and NFL football. He was employed as a book buyer at Nebraska Book Company. Over the years he also held positions at Pizza Hut in Broken Bow, NE and the following companies in Columbus and Schuyler, NE: Drive-thru and carryout Pizza Hut, Schuyler Packing Plant, D & L, and Food 4 Less.

Granddaughter: Riley Fitzgerald of Omaha, NE
