Brian L Gumm

Brian L. Gumm , age 47, of Columbus, gained his wings on his favorite day of the month, April 13, 2024 at UNMC in Omaha.

A Celebration of Brian's life will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Maximus Restaurant in Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Brian was born August 16, 1976, in Columbus, NE to Cecil and Janet (Swierczek) Gumm. Brian graduated from Columbus High School in 1995.
Brian enjoyed bowling, playing pitch, golf, pool, shuffleboard, and family time. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Brian was always your go to guy for help. He always met you with a smile on his face. Brian recently worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts where he enjoyed visiting and helping his customers. Brians final accomplishment for helping was becoming a heroic Organ and Tissue Donor.
