Bonnie Janette Lamb of Columbus, Nebraska died May 24, 2013 at the Columbus Golden Living Center of leukemia.

Bonnie was born February 19, 1934 to Don Rice Fowler and Florence Aleece (Wilson) Fowler in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated from Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa in 1952. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Leonard Lamb on June 8, 1953 in Centerville, Iowa. The couple lived first at Newbury Park Academy in California and later at Oak Park Academy in Iowa working as staff until 1961 when they moved to Murray, Iowa where they owned and operated a service station. Lawrence died in 1980 and Bonnie worked at the Clarke County Hospital in the kitchen until her retirement in 1999. She moved to Columbus in 2005 and resided at Crown Villa until her final illness. She was a member of the Columbus Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include; daughters Janette (William) Abbott of Creston, Lee (Craig) Nickum of Lincoln, Sandy Lamb of St. Louis, sisters Sue (Kenneth) Earhart of Lincoln, Rose (John) Kaster of Auburn, California, seven grandsons, two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
