Bonnie Mae Garretson

Bonnie died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at her home in Platte Center, Nebraska.

Bonnie Mae Garretson was born June 8, 1939 in Silver Creek, Nebraska to Glenn Edmond and Mary E. (Hinkle) Mustard. She attended school in Silver Creek. On July 16, 1954 Bonnie was united in marriage to Dennis Garretson in Columbus. Bonnie loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed babysitting for the church nursery and Addison the daughter of special friends Kelli and Justin Arndt. Her lifes ambition was being a homemaker and mother until she entered the working field in 1984 where she was employed at K-Mart, Arby's and Service Master from 1993 2004 where she received years of service achievement pins. Bonnie was proud of her job and the friends she met at B-D Medical as a janitorial supervisor for Service Master. Her last employment was at the Polish Pub in Platte Center until retiring on September 23, 2012. Bonnie's relaxation was doing crossword puzzles, gardening and cooking. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Columbus.
